For over 10 years Slow Food Hunter Valley has been accepting “food rescues” (food that would otherwise have gone to landfill). We turn this into nutritious meals for local community initiatives. See more.

Slow Food Hunter Valley acknowledges that we live and work on the lands of the Wannaruah, Worimi & Awabakal people, who cared for and shared the abundance of our Mother Earth, sustainably, for thousands of years. They inspire us in our vision of good, clean, fair food for all.

We wish to pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging.

Slow Food is an international movement with communities (groups) in over 160 countries across the world. Each community does what it can in its local area to support and promote the ethos of “good, clean and fair food for all”.
